Update

Well, since I started this blog, I had planned to share our adventures with everyone. Unfortunately, we haven't been going on too many adventures lately. Kyle currently changed schedules at work, so he's working at the hospital 7 days on and 7 days off the graveyard shift. Then, during the day, he goes to school Monday-Friday. We've just been so busy with all of that!

BUT! I did get the opportunity to go down to St. George this weekend with my mom and sisters to visit my little sister, Megan. She's down there by herself now so we decided we would try to make it a priority to go see her as often as we can. My other sister and my mom went in on a really awesome villa for 2 nights! It was so fun! Megan is in esthetics school so we went and had her give us facials! She had felt a little off that morning, but didn't know what was to come would be pure hell. My mom's appointment was right after lunch and Megan couldn't stay in the room because she was so sick and puking. She felt so awful! I felt bad for her. After she was done with school, I ended up taking her to Instacare in St. George. There, we waited 3 hours and went through about 15 barf bags until the doctor finally came in. All he had for us were questions asking if she was pregnant. Her boyfriend is in the Marines and is stationed in California, so the possibility of her being pregnant was pretty unlikely, especially since she has an IUD. After a pregnancy test and a ketone test (for diabetes), he determined she had the stomach flu. Wow, thanks SO much for telling us that.. we loved waiting for 3 hours to not get an "insta" diagnosis that we could do absolutely nothing about. He gave her a Rx for Zofran to help w/ her nausea and we headed back to the Villa. Poor Megs couldn't eat much because she was worried she wouldn't be able to keep anything down.

We left the next morning at around 10:30 for the 3.5 hour drive back up north. I was excited to come home but am going to miss Meggy and St. George! It was so warm down there! I might try and talk Kyle into a camping trip down there before it gets too cold :)

San Rafael Swells

This GORGEOUS place is located about 30 minutes south of Price, Utah and its beauty is "Price-less" (see what I did there? ;) ). We have gone here three times in the last 6 months, so it's safe to say this is our favorite place to camp/hike/whatev. We just invested in a 2015 Subaru XV Crosstrek, so we HAD to take it through the mud after the glorious rain we've had for the past 16 days.

Needless to say, we got a little mud on the tires. And the rims. And everywhere else on the car. Goodbye new car smell! Hello camping and outdoorsy smell!

Kyle had to work Friday night until 10pm, so we just left fairly early Saturday morning and spent all day Saturday and part of Sunday there. We were super worried it was going to rain with the moist weather we've had lately, so we prepared to sleep in the back of Sabrina, our Subi. Luckily, we were able to brave the rain in the tent all night, as it was just a light shower.

I wish I had pictures to post, but the only one I have is this one since I had to get a new phone and lost all of my pictures (😡).

Anywho! The next post I'll be making will be about our backpacking trip. I'm going to try to post about our adventures shortly after they happen, but for right now I'm backtracking a but. If you're not out being adventurous on your days off stop being a lame ass and get outside!
